Outdoor works

For his outdoor works, he has always chosen materials and worked with them in a way that fits in with their surroundings. He also created his small-scale sculptures in the hope of achieving large-scale realisation. A good example of this is his piece called the Praying Woman, a 33 cm high figure of a kneeling woman carved from cherry wood in 1965. He also sculpted this nearly twenty years later from Carrara marble to create a 172 cm high tombstone, which currently stands in the public cemetery in Mohács, Hungary. During his more than four decades of work, he created about thirty public sculptures and reliefs, most of which are located in Baranya County and can be found in the online database www.kozterkep.hu. He also has four public sculptures in Budapest and one in Debrecen, Komló and Mohács.
